1. What are the problems of managing data resources in a traditional file environment and how are they solved by a database management system? Managing data resources in a traditional file could be simply an overload. This could be very hard to maintain causing redundancy and inconsistency. A overload on a data file can become difficult to share data on other apps.
The (DBMS), database management system allows the programmer to solve the problem. When its understood by the programmer, it finds the item in the database then feeds it to the app programmer.

Bits= Represents the smallest units of data in the computer.
Bytes= Bytes are 8 bits, used to store a number or a person in a computer system
Fields= This represents words, or a complete number  Ex.a persons name or age.
Records= A group of related fields, name or numbers.
Files= A group of records that are alike.
Database= Are related files, records that are alike  Ex. money, finances and payroll

Defining and the explanation of entities, attributes and key fields.
 Entities: describes as a record, person place or thing. An must were information must be kept.
 Attributes: A piece of information, describing a particular entity. Suppliers address, city and zip code.
  Problems of the traditional files. The files are stored for years, adding programs and applications its all to much, and is hard to maintain and manage. This could lead to the problem of data redundancy and inconsistency.
Defining database and database management.
 Database are group of related files.  A collection of data organized to serve applications.
Database management know as (DBMS) allows the programmer to solve problems within the database.
This minimizes all the isolated files but not entirely. It can help control redundancy and inconsistency.

A digital firm is an organization where nearly all significant business process and relationships with the customers, suppliers, and employers are digitally enabled, and key corporate assets are managed through the digital means. Digital firms involve both time shifting and space shifting. Time shifting refers to business being handled 24-7, and space shifting is within regular work days via, a 9 to 5.
    Space shifting can take place in a global workshop or within national boundaries.

Digital firm makes a business successful  or not successful. Operating a business can be stressful if it 
 is not ran correctly. That's why some companies or institutions rely on digital firms to operate the organization in an orderly fashion.

Operating continuously is very important in the global workplace. Without the operation of a successful
  firm can cause this mission to fail. Establishing a business relationship with customers, and organizational productivity is one of the stronger genetic genes of a successful establishments.

All buisnesses have a equal oppertunity to make the business all it can be and succeding. The buisnesses whom have failed or are failing need to catch up to the new world of technology, by using the imformation system. The success by leading businesses are leaving them behind by a large margin. Think! who wants to ride around town looking for a product? I rather sit at home or in the
  office and shop on-line. Smaller companies cant afford the advertisment via. internet, E-bay to
do so.
